Sunday Sept 4 Dinner?

We are having burgers on the grill, with cheese, green chile (surprise), garden fresh sliced tomatoes, onions and swiss chard. Along with a cucumber, tomato and mozz cheese salad. A neighbor has been abandoned by his wife in favor of the grandchildren in CO, so he will be joining us.

What are you fixing?

Un-Labor Day Weekend like temperature - down to the upper 60's. Sunny, so it's still a grill dinner. Boneless chicken thighs, pasta salad.

Fall is in the air.

I'm grilling some thighs that have been marinating in in Goya Mojo Criollo (good stuff) with added Sriracha. SousChef is making KFC style cole slaw, and I'll toast up some tater tots for him.

Going backpacking to a local trail camp as soon as I get off work. I packed a bunch of instant meals from Trader Joe's for dinner and tomorrow's breakfast.

Made a Muffuletta. Ate 1/4 of it along with some Zapp's Chips. Also a big thick slab of buttermilk cake for D-Zert.

Chinese soup dumplings with cok choy and shitakes. Pics later. Think I'll stick with getting these at a restaurant from now on. Took forever.
