Sunday Supper 10/13/19

Anybody eat tonight?


I made a killer chicken noodle soup that sure hit the spot.

The big meal was breakfast for dinner and supper was just a salad; a big salad though.

We ate late - Himself was out playing astronomer tonight. I stuffed yellow and orange pepper halves with rice, corn, black beans, and chorizo. Sides were black beans with yellow rice, and corn.

While DH was out playing golf, I had a salad and a slice of the bread I made for the potluck yesterday, so I wasn't very hungry. I made bunless bacon cheeseburgers for both of us, with a dill pickle on the side for me, and a salad for DH.

I brined and pan roasted a small (2.4 LB) pork loin roast and served that with cheddar mashed potatoes and green peas. Dessert was apple pie.

Linda had chicken noodle soup and a greek salad, while I had jumbo prawns in a spicy indian butter sauce, with basmati rice.
