What's cooking at your house today?


SC brought home some frozen shrimp that was on sale, and he cleaned a pound of them so I can make http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/f16/kayelles-shrimp-cakes-100912.html
We'll have them with sides of roasted asparagus, and Angel Hair pasta with herbs.

Our dinner wine will be from a new shipment of assorted wines we ordered. This one will be Butler & Thief Vermentino from Lodi Ca.
 
I also had shrimp for dinner. :) Cleaned and shelled, quickly fried up on the cast iron, chopped, and added to a stir fry with rice, scrambled eggs, peas, and a little soy sauce for seasoning. Fresh fruit salad for a side.

Our grandson came for a visit and I supervised as he cooked dinner for us.

Steven made bacon macaroni and cheese, broiled kielbasa and some sliced veggies. (He chose the menu too.)
