Andy, don't forget to run the garbage disposer, and empty the trash, speaking from experience. Have a wonderful time in the sun!!

We had lentil & brown rice soup. No pictures at the moment.

Thanks for the reminder, Kayelle.

We had another snow storm today - 8", the second major storm in a week.

Super cold temps and more snow next week. I'm not at all sorry I'll be missing them.

I made TaxLady's Garlic Soup. Thanks, TL wherever you are. It is very, very good. Sweet garlic. It would be perfect with a pint of oysters, but delicious as is. I'm putting canned minced clam and clam juice on the grocery list. I can have a chowdah the way I like it - without potatoes! I can't seem to find any oysters around here.

If you can't see the bright side of life, polish the dull side.

Pot roast.... we're breaking our Friday tradition of breakfast for dinner, because I crave carrots!
