rr, if you have a bunt cake pan, or an angel food pan, they come in handy for slicing corn off the cob without it flying everywhere. Just stand up the cob in the hole, and slice away. ;)
I've tried that, but it felt unsteady and dangerous to me. So I put a clean dish towel on the counter under the upended corn cob, then slice off the kernels. Then I can just gather up the towel and pour the kernels into a bowl or whatever.

I had a loaded up taco salad.

Nice photo, nice dish. Makes me want to replace my 2002 Olympus camera.

+1! And Cheryl has gorgeous afternoon light for her dinner photos. We don't eat till eight or so, so I need supplemental light for mine. A lamp works great ;)

Thanks, GG! I like to have dinner pretty early - usually around 5. The dining room table is next to the glass patio doors so I get a lot of light. Good thing as far as food photos, because I have a little trouble taking pics with anything other than natural light. :ermm:

I made a quiche, one of my favourites!

As for the other meal pics, wow and yum.
