Good morning friends,

Another hot day on Long Island . . . going into the 90's with lots of humidity. Chance of showers too . . . boy, do we need the rain.

Today's dinner will be pasta with home-grown tomato sauce with lots of garlic and basil and grilled chicken breasts marinated in EVOO, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano.

Enjoy the day!

Today we are having breakfast for dinner. Bacon, homefries and omelets. Various omelet fillings include sauteed onions and mushrooms, shredded cheeses and fresh diced garden tomatoes.

Tonight we are having Marinated Salmon Filets, Yukon Gold Garlic Smashed Potatoes, Steamed Asparagus with Smoked Salt. For dessert French Vanilla Ice Cream with chopped Macadamia Nut Turtles. Coffee, Water and Lemonade as a beverage. May open up the bottle of Chardonnay I got a couple of weeks ago.

Also hotter than hades here so just the beginnings of a clue.

Boneless/skinless chicken breasts cut into strips, dredged in seasoned flour (Garlic powder, Onion powder, Adobo (dry powder), Accent, poultry seasoning, Sea Salt, Ground pepper, Cayenne, Paprika, Cayenne). Sides were spinach salad and sliced tomato.

had company all day and served the same thing for lunch and dinner; scrambled eggs with ham, and toast....vanilla ice cream for dessert....I really was not prepared for company, but had no complaints....the eggs were local and really yellow.
