It was disappointing though it was easy to make. I guess I was expecting more of a salsa verde type sauce. I'll try that next time.

Had a nice afternoon grillin' on the patio. I decided to go with a salad instead of asparagus.

Ooops, a flare up. But the end result was really good. I couldn't eat it all. Steak and eggs tomorrow for a late breakfast should do it.

That's unfortunate, Andy. The photo in the link looked pretty enticing. Enough so that I copied the recipe.

Coincidentally, I used a Rick Bayless recipe last night for the garlicky ancho rub we had on our steaks. It was terrific.

I have noticed a lot of hit-miss with RB's recipes, though.

Oh, and I just had a bowl of soba noodles for dinner tonight. I had a burger for lunch, so I needed something light for the evening meal.
