I was going to do Chicken a la Alix
but husband tells me he has to leave for a meeting early tonight, so it will have to wait till tomorrow. Went out to lunch with my GF's today, so not in the mood for a early dinner anyway. I might throw a sandwich together later.

I marinated pork chops in crushed pineapple w/juice, soy sauce, a little grated fresh ginger, and brown sugar.

I browned the chops then simmered them with the marinade until rendered down. It tasted yummy!

That does sound good, Z. I was just thinking about crushed pineapple earlier, when I was reading the bean thread. Crushed pineapple is great in baked (or smoked) beans.
