Congrats on your new arrival, Bill!
There are other Obstlers that I prefer, but Slivovitz is pretty much the only one I can buy in the US. Thanks for the congrats.
My 'normal' ration is 1 dcl. of Slivovitz per day.

I finally felt like cooking a decent meal today.
Spaghetti w/Meatball
Garlic Bread Toasted
I will have either Frozen Fat Free Yogurt or Rainbow Sherbert for dessert.

2 dl = 6.76280454 US fluid ounces

So, was it a little drink or a huge one?

Looks good, Patty! Glad you're able to eat again. How are you feeling?

type ... straight?

hmm, i thought jpb was married? i never knew he was.. well, not that there's anything wrong with it.

you see what happens when you drink, people!!!

oddly enough, dinner tonight for us was hot dogs. a local fast food joint that specializes in deep fried hot dogs had a memorial day special yesterday. 12 uncooked dogs (their own specially made weiners), 12 buns, a quart of chili sauce, and a pint of minced onions, all for $12.

since we were going to a minor league baseball game tonight, we pigged out. we killed off 7 of them fully loaded, and froze the remainder.

and i'm still getting to "re-experience" them every so often.
