DH and I collaborated on making a flourless chocolate cake with dark chocolate-cinnamon ganache. OMG, it was so incredibly good.

Now I have pita bread on the go, paleek paneer, vegetarian cabbage rolls (I guess those don't count as baking). Picked up smoked salmon and smoked cod from the fishmonger (I traded him 2 lb of gravlax for his family--he supplied the salmon--didn't know how to make it, I also go 1 lb of gravlax in exchange for making it--I'm liking this arrangement). Oh my, oh my, will I be ready by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow? Did I mention the doorknob broke and I'll have to redirect everyone through the back door if the DH can't fix it...what was I thinking!

my third cherry pie this month:blush:.

Ever since I discovered store bought pie crusts can be delicious, it is absurdly easy to make a cherry pie. I use a recipe that mixes drained, water packed pie cherries, sugar and flour with a dab of almond extract. Stir that together and dump in the pie crusts.:yum:
