Toasted onion bagel with cream cheese and lox. This is breakfast three times a week. It was this recipe that killed my KA mixer.

Lovely! Can you share the recipe or approximate what you did? I'm thinking pattypan squash, swiss chard (or kale) and jarlsberg...

Dropping it on the toilet broke the toilet. Separate incident, mixing bagel dough caused the gear to break.

I stand corrected. For some reason, the broken toilet incident sticks in my mind.

You probably already know this, but it is likely the nylon worm gear and should be fairly easy and cheap to fix. There are youtube videos on how to do it.
