I baked my one pan chocolate cake for my sweetie's birthday (Thursday). We are eating it now with red wine. It's surprising how well red wine goes with chocolate.

I did a sweet cornbread to go with a bean and chorizo soup...yumm. (It was my first try at using chorizo.)

Hot Wings & Pizza
I baked some chicken wings and pizza a couple of nites ago in my outdoor oven.
While waiting for the oven to reach pizza temperature I baked a basket full of wings, then dredged them in Frank's Hot Wing sauce.

Today I want to bake up a honey oatmeal concoction, not sure if I should call it a cake or a bread but it is certainly delicious. I am going to hold off until I can get the real recipe from my mother, though.

Last night I baked a Gluten Free Zucchini Banana Bread. I didn't try it til today, though. I had a slice for breakfast and it came out great, moist and tasty!

I used to give pumpkin bread away as gifts, now those same people want to buy them from me to give as gifts, LOL. I did close to 100 last holiday season.
The cheesecakes and stuffing are for work pot-luck dinners tomorrow.
This is kinda what my kitchen looks like right now.

Thanks. I have been looking for a good Date Nut Bread recipe for a few years. My son loved the canned version with cream cheese, but it is no longer available. I will give this a try.
