I've got a pineapple I need to use so I just looked up a recipe for a "from scratch" pineapple upside down cake. I'll let you know how it goes!

last night i made lemon poppy seed muffins. gave all but three to granddaughter this afternoon. had one for breakfast with cold, cold, milk. i love lemon anything.

Those sound awsome, Did you use splenda. have Lemons from the tree outside and fresh Poppy seed.

sorry to disappoint. it was a mix. i did add 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring, some lemon zest and more poppy seeds. i like to use all the help i can. they are all gone so must have been good.

i made four dozen cookies today. some for the guy that drives me to the dr. he won't even take money for gas, so i bake him a treat. they were a new recipe for me "butter brickle cookies" recipe on bag of toffee bits, that i discovered a short time ago. very good. took cup of butter so they are very moist.

LOL I didn't even notice that you had posted the same thing! The person you made them for will probably love you forever, as they are amazing! And they have enough butter in them to make Paula Deen proud! As I said in the dinner thread, I might try them with chocolate chips some time too.

Yep. I used the mini loaf pan. I'll be making some more today. Maybe another loaf of French bread, too.

More banana nut bread today and a loaf of French bread. My second one. They keep coming out looking more like Italian bread

I made a large carrot cake today and used the last of the carrots in the frig. I have plenty more in the garden, but there is a blizzard going on right now and I am not going to dig any time soon
