I just made 3 jars of lemon curd.
Not sure what dinner will be yet. There are to many choices available. I’m hoping DD will want to order takeout. :angel:

What’s are you eating Friday 8/24/2018?

I’m defrosting a tub of tomato sauce for a dinner of pasta and salad.
 
Cheese tortellini and zucchini in pesto sauce topped with parm and basil.. Green salad and toasted ciabatta rolls with garlic and parm..


Finish off the apple pie later..

I went to the lobster pound and picked up 3 lbs. of steamers and two lobster halves (1-1/2 lbs. plus lobsters). Sides were cole slaw and Bush's Grillin Beans (with some bacon tossed in to help). We're both stuffed.

Himself had his first astronomy night at the dairy farm tonight, so I made loaded salads and decided there were enough leftovers. I had energy to eat salad. Now that he's home (finally! - they were crowded even though tonight was the first of many nights), we can wrestle each other for the Mexican chicken and sub sandwich.
 
I made a very basic stovetop mac-n-cheese. I put some diced jalapeños in for a little kick. No fancy cheese blend, just Kroger brand medium cheddar.

Nothing fancy -- just basic comfort food.
