Dinner was pork loin roast, steamed broccoli, mashed yukons and pan gravy.

We had breakfast for supper: a country omelette with scallions and Feta and whole grain toast. Then, later we had a snack of smashed potatoes.

We picked up some beautiful big Brat's from a specialty store today. I roasted them in the toaster oven and put them on top of a skillet side of bacon/onion/little sliced potatoes/shredded cabbage/sliced Gala apple/white wine.

Delish..and tasted like my childhood.

We were tying up a few stray ends taking care of things for Goober (bike and camera lens repairs), so we hit up a local Chick-fil-a. We were totally charmed by the little three-year-old girl at the table across from ours. While her older (5) brother behaved, and her new sister (3 months) snuggled with Mom, she looked straight at me and said "Hi! How old are you?" Later, I told her my age and said that she had to keep it a secret. Turns out that Mom could read lips. I don't care, just so long as I'm aging I ain't dead.
