We ordered shish taouk platters from Mr. Falafel. Very tasty.

Haven't felt like cooking much after the illness and the death of my little brother but, today, the spirit moved me, along with the cold weather and I made this recipe.

I found a small pork roast in the freezer. I pan seared it and finished it in the oven. Buttered noodles and cauliflower in cheese sauce completed the meal.

We tried a newer local restaurant tonight. Decided on burgers and beer to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the repeal of prohibition. The burgers were perfectly cooked, the fries, which I normally don't like, were delicious - double fried! Beers were good, too. We'll definitely return for real meals in the future.

DH and I went to my master gardener group's holiday party last night. It was an Italian buffet. Food was not bad, but the company was fun We had a good time.
