I got some beautiful shaved beef and corned beef from the deli yesterday so Dad and I had sandwiches (him beef, me corned beef & swiss) on fresh multigrain bread, with a small side salad. They were extra tasty somehow!

I made DH a luncheon salad with romaine, veggies, avocado and some of the shaved meat.

Hubby stayed home to escort me to a dr.'s appt., & we lunched at a favorite local bistro.

Both enjoyed a cup of extra-spicy Manhattan Clam Chowder, followed by in-house smoked chicken & goat cheese quesadillas for hubby, & a large 100% blue-claw lump crabmeat cake (ZERO filler!!), topped with a perfectly poached egg & served with a spicy Remoulade sauce. Wonderful!

I am not an egg eater....unless I pile them with things I like. So today's lunch was a two-egg scramble with crimini mushrooms, Genoa salami and some Danish Brie cheese I treated myself too, plus fresh chives and oregano from my herb garden. For me, the eggs are just binding for the rest of the ingredients!
