What goes with porcupine meatballs?

What should I serve with porcupine meatballs?

tomato sauce and cabbage (sliced, sauteed with onion), which would be an inside out cabbage roll...
or
brown gravy?
with:
crusty bread
choice of veggie, like green beans

Not sure about the mashed potatoes cause the meat balls will be in a tomatoe sauce. Cabbage is a thought though.
