This morning was a buffet at the casino. They had everything you could think of, and it came with the room. Nice!

Two fried eggs with a side of chickpea hash (chickpeas, diced potato, kale, green pepper, jalapeno, tomato, a splash of apple cider vinegar) and a glass of freshly-squeezed orange-tangelo juice (1 orange, 1/2 tangelo). I was planning 1/2 c of plain yogurt as well, but I was full, so the yogurt is packed and ready to take with me to the farm, along with the rest of the "hash." I checked the eGL for the ingredients....I've had about 1/2 the recommended amount for the day already (not diabetic, trying to be more aware of what I eat). Maybe I'll leave the chickpea hash at home and just graze on kale, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, celery, and whatever else I find waiting in the garden. We haven't had a killing frost, yet, so still able to harvest some things.

This morning it was a steak, steamed kale, and brown rice. A big glass of plain Seltzer with 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (this I drank while the rest was cooking).

Scrambled egg whites topped with fat free cheese & a ketchup packet. 2 slices of lite 12 grain bread with strawberry jam & lite peanut butter. Also, a 20 oz. fat free, sugar free iced latte.

I had greek yogurt with homemade granola this morning, that's my typical breakfast.
