I sauteed some chicken breasts, seasoned with salt, pepper, sage, and thyme. Then, I sauteed some onions, mushrooms, and garlic. When that caramelized, I deglazed the pan with chicken stock and some cream of mushroom soup. The, I placed the browned chicken back into the pot, covered it, and simmered it for 30 minutes. I also nuked some frozen corn, and made some dressing.

Dinner was GOOD!!!

The grocery store had artichokes on sale yesterday for $0.99. So, tonight I grilled a tri-tip steak rubbed with a rub that a friend made me for Christmas. With the steak I had the artichoke and pasta with alfredo sauce. The steak was perfect: juicy and tender. I could have just ate the steak for dinner.

We had a carrot, pea and (left over) pork chop stir fry over medium-wide "glass" rice noodles, fluffy white rice and vegetable spring rolls. I loved the meal to bits, especialy because it's a bit more of a treat than our normal dinners, but of course picky Mr. DH only gave it a "so-so" - errrrrr! I think that someone needs to some culinary sense into his Italian head!

OMG Ken, you 10 rules are exactly what DH already is talking about for Sofia (plus allowing her 1st date at 43!)!

I made abj's roasted balsamic chicken, steamed broccoli, and egg noodles.

HH is much more liberal than your DH, PA. He will allow daughter to go on car dates when she's 35.

Back on topic - we had tourtiere again (I made two a while ago and froze one that reheated pretty well) and peas.
