Today is my 4th wedding anniversary. Tomorrow night my wife and I will go out to celebrate. We will be going to Tomasso Trattoria.

I already have my meal planned out. What would you order?

Happy Anniversary, GB!!!

The place looks great... couldn't begin to advise.

Still, Happy Anniversary!

Happy anniversary, geebs!
it all looks so good.........

I'm having:
Caciofi
Insalata Verde
Risotto
Maiale Arrostito
Crostata di Pera e Mandorle

First off Happy Anniversary.

Secondly, I would probably order:

Antipasti: Crostini di Ricotta, only because I've tried versions of everything else of their antipasti. The crostini looks interesting though since I don't think I've had those flavors together before.

Primi: Tagliatelle di Farro and/or Garganelli. Both look interesting and the flavor combinations would be relatively new.
Secondi: Orratta. I've never had that fish before. I've tried the other secondi before.

Dolci: Bruschetta di Prugne: I'm not a big dessert person, so I'd rather have something fruit it in, and this looks interesting.

Happy Anniversary, GB!

1. Affettati Misti
2. Risotto
3. Maiale Arrostito
4. Asparagi Arrostiti
5. Crostata di Gianduja

...and a whole bunch of wine.

Interesting that so far, many people have opted for the pork entree. In the restaurants I've worked in, pork was usually one of the more least popular entrees.
pork has long received a bad rep
but when done nicely and most times with a sweet and sour or sweet and spicy edge it does do nicely
i sell alot of pork
more chicken but enough pork to do my food cost good

Capesante 25
Day Boat Scallops with Caperberries and Meyer Lemon

Tiramisù 10
Tiramisù with Mascarpone Cheese

OK, I now have time to look at the menu - here is what I would order:

Carciofi
Baby Artichokes with Mint,
Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sea Salt
(or the chef's antipasto - call me crazy)

Insalata agli Agrumi
Citrus Segments, Shaved Fennel
and Mint

(oops, I forgot a course)

FORMAGGI

And I would take no less than about 3 1/2 hours to complete this dinner.
