[Vanilla Bean]

Scrambled eggs, hash browns, and 2 country-style breakfast sausages. The eggs, well you know by know where those came from , the potatoes from the garden, and the sausages the result of my first attempt, and first batch, of homemade sausage.

Wow, great picture! I think you even caught some steam there. What a great-looking meal!

Thanks, Chopper and Vanilla Bean. It was really good. I might have to do a repeat tomorrow night since I leave on Tuesday a.m. and will be w/out a kitchen until I return (not to mention FRESH EGGS!).

Lunch – Salad – Red & green butter lettuce, shredded red cabbage, shaved carrots, sliced mushroom cap, tuna, hard boiled eggs, vine tomato wedges and black olives dressed with flax, canola and EVOO oils, red wine vinegar, herbs, sesame seeds, herbs and spices.

I was inspired by today's pizza thread and decided to make deep dish Chicago style pizza (with whole wheat crust). It came out VERY deep. I call this one Pizza-zilla...

That is a deep dish.....

Well, Yesterday's planned lasagna dinner didn't happen ...
we got all wrapped up in a banana bread bake that we neglected to take one out of the freezer....

Banana Bread X 2 ---- Blueberry, and walnut...

So, we took the easy way out for dinner.................

Pan - Roasted Taters............

Chopped beef Patties in a light gravy...............

and a little corn for color.................

I had chili last night. After shoveling snow for a couple hours in the morning, I wasn't driving or going back outside for anything.

We had Yankee Pot Roast. Enjoyed with a fresh baguette and a caesar salad. Jacob's Creek Shiraz in the sauce and in the glass.

Dinner - Boneless pork loin roast (salt water soak for 2 hours before cooking), nicely seasoned and roasted red, russet & yukon taters, sliced mushroom caps and onions, pan gravy and fresh microwave steamed cauliflower.
