since i was busy raking leaves and dw was busy with school projects with the boy, we got takeout from a new little spanish/portugese place nearby.
we got lamb chops, garlic shrimp, and roasted chicken, all with mounds of yellow rice and black beans, and portugese rolls.
everything was fantastic! there was enough rice and beans for 8 people, and we were practically scraping up the styrofoam from the container to get the last bits of garlic oil from the garlic shrimp it was so good. i was thrilled to see both dw and my boy enjoy the lamb chops. dw was force fed lamb as a kid, so she has almost always refused it since i've known her, but she says she'll order this for herself next time. it wasn't fatty or gamey at all, just tasty baaaa.
we'll be going back to try their paella and suckling pig soon, probably next weekend.
