In honour of our Canadian Thanksgiving? Thanks! :)

I made Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and am being taken out tomorrow, plus I have a bad head cold and it is only Dad and I so it will probably be something simple like sausage rolls and salad. I want to use up the last of the sausage rolls so I can make a new batch for the freezer.

We had roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy. Lettuce salad with French dressing. For dessert we had a "few" homemade cookies.

Dinner 10/11/09:

Boneless chicken breast seasoned, pan seared and finished in the oven.

We spent the day wandering around town, and when we got home, I put together a salad nicoise. Right now we're trying to use up stuff in the fridge that won't last more than a week because we're planning a road trip to visit my parents. This was phase one. In the next three or four days it will be no leftovers allowed, and fresh fruit an veggies have to go.
