Chicken with bacon onion and cheese served with potato salad from yesterday and a little redcurrant and onion relish.
Your chicken looks like the dish I made a couple weeks ago.

I even had a potato side dish.

I'm making baked kielbasa with cabbage... roasted potatoes on the side.... kind of like last night.

I think after this week, Mark is not going to want potatoes for awhile. :ROFLMAO:
I'm not in the mood for meat tonight, so I'm going to make about a 9-inch vegie pizza for myself. I'll post pictures of both dinners later.

Forgive me, but I don't remember the brand of sausage... I buy it in a large package and freeze it in smaller portions.

I started the cabbage/sausage/potato dinner in the crock-pot... I had the day off, and it was hot in here this afternoon...... catching up on laundry earlier. I finished both the potato and sausage/cabbage in the oven.

The peeled, sliced red potato was just tossed in oil, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders. The cabbage/sausage was tossed in oil, cider vinegar, and caraway seed.

That pizza was a store-bought frozen crust. :ermm: Yes, I have made my own pizza dough. I just didn't want to fuss with it today.

All looking very good as usual VB :) Do you make your own tomato sauce for the base? I know you said you used shop bought pizza base but do you think the shop bought ones are still pretty good or much much better to make your own?

Thanks for sharing :D

Leftovers here. DH starts teaching tonight so I will be solo. Have chicken, taco meat, ham, and mac'n'cheese to choose from.

jabbur:

Love that quitting chocolate quote. I saw the phrase on an small sign displayed at a small cafe in Sedona, AZ. Unfortunately the sign wasn't for sale, I'd have bought it. I do have a photograph of it, it's cute, maybe I'll print it and hang it in my kitchen. Do I detect you are a chocolate lover??? Trader Joe's has terrific truffles. DH and have fruit and chocolate, 2 pieces each, for desert most nights. Weight watchers? Yes!! But not deprived.:ermm: Blessings,

I didn't make my own sauce. The only time I have made my own sauce is when I was added spices, etc to a tomato sauce. I have never made it from scratch. And.... Pizza crust is always better homemade. I have have made it before from scratch, and it has a much better flavor. I just didn't have the energy for that yesterday.
