your pancakes sound great redkitty!

I made quiche (ham, mushroom, spinach, sour cream, onion and cheese) and salad for brunch today. Came out pretty well. To quote dh "there just enough eggs to hold it all together." LOL

Today was election day, so I went to an IHOP near the polling place. I had heard that IHOP makes excellent French Toast. It was OK but not good enough to ever go back.

Had a lovely 3 eggwhite scramble with shallots, tomato and fresh basil. With a piece of whole meal toast and a large yummy cup of Peet's French Roast!

That was the last of my Peet's....hope the care package my Dad sent (with several bags of Peet's beans in it!) comes today or I'll be coffeeless tomorrow!!!!!

We went out for breakfast. It was okay. I could have made something better at home. I hate that.

Steel cut oats with fresh blueberries, dried prunes, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground flax seed. I also had a lovely cup of Spanish coffee brewed in the moka pot.
