What's for Dinner, Friday Dec 26th?

i made entirely to much food as usual ..
but there were quite a few people that didnt show up that
said they coming ..
not sure what i am going to do with the left over beef tenderloin ..
but i will eat every last piece ..
the gorgonzola cream sauce was so good with it ..
and a close friend dropped of stone crabs claws from Joes ..

Trying to get back into some sense of normalcy here with regards to food...

So we're having:

stuffed mushrooms with cranberries
italian sausage slices with vinegar peppers
garlic bread crostini with swiss and fig preserves
a few leftover sardine crostinis

We're drinking bourbon, basil hayden...

Leftover prime rib... not sure yet what I'll do with it. Maybe some deluxe stew. It is snowing here. Or maybe a shepherd's pie with biscuits.

That is what I did with our leftover rib roast. It makes very good stew, but I wouldn't buy it just for that. We had a green salad and garlic cheese biscuits with the stew. We are having fruit and nuts for dessert, if dh will crack the brazil nuts.

been nibbling on left over, ham and stuff all day. so not planning a real dinner. have some cake left over for the sweet tooth later.

It's a do your own thing night.... dh has been ill and consequently having chicken broth soup, I on the other hand feel grand and will be having myself some left over Christmas soup.

wild rice....pork chops made with a rub from the spice swap...yum....and garlic cheese bread. My daughter had 3rds!!
