Unfortunately Katie - they are acrylic. The house came with metal handles and hardware. We were probably close to being the last of the metal era. Glass became popular when the demand for metal went to make ammunition for the war...but you know all that already! You're so funny!! You would see that before the food!

dinner last night was baked skinless chicken breasts with mango/sweet chili sauce, mushroom risotto, cranberry sauce, and a can o' corn.
then, since the only thing i ate all day was dinner, i had a midnight snack. a quick trip to "the hot grill": The Hot Grill

i had a roast beef sandwich, fries with gravy, and one (hot dog) all the way (mustard, texas weiner sauce, and onions).

:pig::pig::pig::pig::pig::pig::pig::pig:

Um...whats Texas wiener sauce? (I'm almost afraid to ask that question in light of the current conversation about the word "porn")

lol, alix. i thought it's weird that a place in jersey, in fact several places, advertise that they serve texas weiner sauce. but, i guess it's like a "coney" dog in the midwest (coney island, ny).

it's a brown-ish gravy with very finely crumbled bits of ground beef. like a thin chilli sauce. very distinct flavor.
