I made meatballs this afternoon. They were served over a wheat rotini pasta in tomato sauce with mushrooms and peppers.

hmmmmmmmmmmm it's an italian thing i guess. there are several pizza place here that ONLY make calzones that way unless you ask for something different and then they say ok you got it and give each other a strange look LOL
 
YUM! That looks delicious! I don't think I have ever had duck. The way you present it makes it look so tempting. I like almost everything, so I am sure I would like your dinner! :chef:

My brother-in-law made Alton Brown's Mighty Duck several times last Christmas season when ducks were readily available, and relatively inexpensive. The leg quarters turn out great and you end up with some good duck stock. As for the breasts, they cook so much differently than the legs, I'd save them for another recipe. Here's the recipe I used as a basis for my duck, Seared Duck Breast with Cherries and Port Sauce.
