My brother-in-law made Alton Brown's Mighty Duck
several times last Christmas season when ducks were readily available, and relatively inexpensive. The leg quarters turn out great and you end up with some good duck stock. As for the breasts, they cook so much differently than the legs, I'd save them for another recipe. Here's the recipe I used as a basis for my duck, Seared Duck Breast with Cherries and Port Sauce
