Thursday dinner, 5/20

city-chix nite for us!
baked potato or if i make a gravy, smushed reds. barley cooked in broth, a salad.....
roasted broccoli florets ( + buttery crumbs or a cheese sauce) & sage/butter battonet of carrot.

After a lot of cloudy, cold and rainy days, today is beautiful. So, I'm firin' up the grill and making burgers with fries on the side. And maybe eating out on the porch.

I've got a flank steak marinating in BBQ sauce right now. We will have hash browns and a vegetable for the sides.

:)Barbara

Today was a VERY busy day. We had ham steak, sweet potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce, glazed apples and biscuits.

Shell steak nicely seasoned and grilled on the Cast Iron grill pan, steamed fresh baby spinach, mushroom caps and onions seasoned and sauted in butter then burgandy wine added and reduced, sliced vine tomatoes and mozzarella.
