DH grilled some burgers tonight. We had them with all the trimmings served on "Mae's overnight buns" (baked last weekend) they kept well in the fridge, and since they were huge, they worked well as hamburger buns.

Tonight was our second Solstice dinner party. We had Danish Pork Roulade with Dried Fruit (with wine in the braising liquid) - it turned out really good), rødkål, a salad, brown basmati rice, Hasselback potatoes, lingonberry preserves, and hot (as in pepper hot) cranberry salsa.

Dessert was trifle and a gorgeous Xmas log that one of the guests made.
