It's hot and humid. We ordered from Mr. Falafel - one beef platter andonechicken platter and subbed out one green salad food tabouli. I do love that Middle Eastern food.

The only air conditioning that works well in our house is in the bedroom. So, we had a picnic on the bed.

May you live as long as you wish and love as long as you live.

We had something called "Roman Cauliflower" from a Sunset Italian cookbook. It was listed as a side dish but I decided to make it a main dish since it's way too heavy for 2 people for a side. It's Italian sausage squeezed out of the casings, onions, carots, celery, bay leaf, tomato paste cooked into a "gravy" that is then served over cauliflower. The recipe said to boil the cauliflower but I steamed it. We added some crispy baguette toast with garlic and some grated parm on top and it was great!

Last night was the first night that me and DH were on our business trip so supper was cooked for us by TGI Friday's. I had a Jack Daniels Glazed Chicken Sandwich and it was ever so yummy. And DH had Jack Daniels Glazed Ribs
