Making pot roast with chopped onion s&p,garlic red wine,beef broth,dry porcinii mushrooms and some fresh rosemary.in the creookpot. will cook til it is fork tenderWill arrange on a platter and spoon gravey and pass the rest.Will add polenta to go with the gravey.Adding to the meal cooked and dresses artichokes with garlic , chopped parsley and a little melted butter. A salad of avocado,
tomato,vidalia onion Warm Italian, And dessert is an aprict crostada.

We had some roasted mushroom caps, cherry tomatoes, Vidalia onion and red, green, yellow and orange peppers left over from Monday. So I sautéed some slivered garlic with ground red pepper flakes in EVOO till soft added the veggies, fresh basil chiffonade, plain tomato sauce, oregano and burgundy wine to it and simmered for 15 minutes and then served it over linguine and topped with fresh grated romano and parmesan cheese.

White bean salad with tuna, red bell pepper, grape tomatoes, sweet onion, corn, celery, black olives, peas, green beans, etc. with a lemon/balsamic vinaigrette. Baguette on the side.
 
had friends over...made a West African beef stew with red rice and greens. All disappeared. THen we did a single malt scotch tasting...followed by samplings from the rest of the liquor cabinet...what fun and how yummy...oh and choc mouse for desert...
 
Last night a made a "Chicken Florentine" - boneless skinless chicken breasts sauteed in extra-virgin olive oil, sliced, & served on a bed of fresh butter-sauteed local spinach from the farmers market with some feta cheese crumbled in. Added some butter & fresh lemon juice to the chicken pan juices to pour over. Served with a side of orzo pasta drizzled with white truffle oil & a big green salad.
