I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this comment or not. Anyway...

When I'm looking for a new recipe, I usually start out with my cookbooks or at AllRecipes because I like to read other people's opinions & suggestions. If I don't find anything there, I will Google whatever I'm looking for. If nothing I come across appeals to me, I end up here & I search the archives. When I ask for a recipe here, I'm really looking for something TNT - hoping that someone will share a recipe for something they make themselves & love.

I look here and Google, which picks up all the recipe sites. Then I compare and contrast and make a selection.

I'm still not used to the fact that when I ask for a recipe here and google if I don't get one - my original question here shows up in the search. That too me is too weird. The computer age slipped up on me!!!

I usually head to Epicurious.com first because their recipes come from Gourmet and Bon Appetit.

But like Andy, I compare and contrast and then usually don't even go by the recipe:rolleyes: but make it "my" way instead.
