Actually Z, the seasoning called Tajin' contains nothing but salt, chili pepper powder, and dehydrated lime. The ready made sprinkle has just the right proportions and isn't expensive in the grocery store. You might be able to get close by rubbing the skin of the chicken with lime juice and sprinkling on a combo of salt and chili powder. I personally think cayenne would be too hot if not used very sparingly. Roast your chicken at a high temp, and it will get a beautiful golden brown because of the chili powder.

There was a thread about the product back in June..
Tajin seasoning.....

a little tired & worse for wear, but that has more to do with another night's fun & jolly japes in the northern quarter last night, rather than m&s seafood.plus,we all decided to "bunk up" in a hotel room last night rather than travel home....oh dear!!

I'm so very glad to see your photos, Harry. I missed you so very much! Your meal looks so very nice, as usual.

Your way of speaking to us, when coupled with your photos, makes me feel as if I'm in your kitchen with you, Harry.

I don't feel well tonight. I took a fall on my bike today and I hurt my back, so I didn't feel much like cooking and I'm having to take horrible painkillers and muscle relaxers. Thankfully, Mamma and Carl stepped in and made spaghetti with meatballs, garlic cheese bread, and a salad.

It's not exciting as the sauce came from a jar and the meatballs were frozen and pre-cooked.

Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow. I let everyone down tonight.

Uck.

With love,
~Cat
