I don't know why I didn't mention this before abjcooking - if your parents are staying at a hotel with a concierge - they should ask them about the type of restaurants they are looking for.

Like any other large city - the food scene is constantly changing. I know there are several upscale 4-5 star rated restaurants from the late 60's - early 70's didn't survive when the airlines moved operations from Love Field to DFW.

Thank you all so much for your help. My parents are going down to to Dallas again today and they said that they were excited to try one of the new restaurant's. So if they give me any reviews I'll let you know.

I just thought of another wonderful place to eat, its called Star Canyon. Its excellent and highly reviewed as well.
