Brussels Sprouts Salad

Makes 6 servings

2-pint size packages of fresh Brussels sprouts
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 1/3 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
tsp. garlic powder
Tbsp. minced green pepper
2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
4 drops Tabasco sauce
Romaine lettuce leaves, for garnish

Boil Brussels sprouts for 15 minutes.
Place drained Brussels sprouts and cherry tomatoes in a bowl; set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients, and pour over Brussels sprouts and tomatoes.
Toss well. Cover and chill 1 hour.
Serve over lettuce leaves.

I would never have tried brussel sprouts in a salad but will be trying this recipe out. You should try my mom's sprouts......ewwwwwww mashed potato consistency. I love them still crunchy and with mom's if the fall off of the fork they go splat and flatten out to mash. :(

This sounds very good, thank you for posting it!! I am thinking that adding crumbled cooked bacon would add to this.

I love brussel sprouts. I actually just planted some in my garden. This recipe sounds like a great use for the bounty I am sure to have

I adore brussels sprouts! And, like most here, have never had them in a salad! What a marvelous idea!
