red onions
chopped parsley
olives (optional) cubed mozz. or feta cheese
cherry tomatoes
3/4 cup of bottled italian or salad dressing of choice.

I seem to have any bottled dressing, so any suggestions?

survivor girl,
I'd use a red instead of a green bell pepper, and add some diced salami or mortadella, some sliced pepperoncini peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, quartered... and my kids love me to toss
in some sunflower seeds...
dressing depends on what you like best. I make my own dressing for a pasta salad like this
and I make a lot as my salads have to be big with this gang..
about 1/2 c-evoo,
red wine vinegar to your taste, we tend to like it tart
2-4 cloves crushed garlic,
1-2 tea. sugar
3-4 dashes worcestershire sauce
1/4-c. ketchup, whizz altogether in blender and pour over pasta or green salads...

I made it and used red instead of green also. I opted to use a store bought balsamic vinegrette that i had on hand (cowards way out i know:neutral:).
I like the sound on your dressing because it seems unique to me, i mean ketchup in a dressing?? that's something i've never done but i'm eager to try it!:)
thx for the input!
