This was my MIL's recipe. Don't let the ketchup in the dressing deter you; the first time I ate it, I loved it and had no idea there was ketchup in the dressing.

Dressing
1/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup canola oil
Mix all together, set aside until ready to toss salad.

Salad
6 cups field green mix
4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
1 cup pecans, toasted
1 cup craisins or strawberries
3 pears, thinly sliced
1 red onion, thinly sliced

Toss all salad ingredients and dressing together. Serve immediately.

I make that same dressing with the addition of shallots. It is very tasty.

I love the pecans being there....Gonna have to try this one.

Thanks Miss... oops! Mrs bb!
 How's it going Uncle Bob? I haven't been around much - sick little one, but he's on the mend.

The pecans are a great addition. I once used sugared & spiced pecans, and it was over-the-top good!
