It's that time of year where fresh ripe fruit is sneaking into my thoughts, I can hardly wait for peaches,apples nectarines ,cherries, grapes so this will fill in til it's time.
In a small skillet over med heat cook almond1/2 cup with 3 Tab. of sugar. stir occasionally til almonds are coated and sugar is dissolved. Watch closely as they will burn.Cool and keep in a air tight container Mix all dressing ingredients and chill. Dressing to follow. Mix your lettuces 1/2 head each of iceberg and romaine 4 whole green onions both green and white chopped1 cup celery chopped, just before serving add almond and mandarins 1-11oz can mandarins drained now toss with dressing
Dressing1/2 tea salt,dash pepper,1/4 veggie oil,2 tab. fresh chopped parsley or cilantro,2 tab ofsugar 2tab. of vinegartabasco to taste.
