I make this often during summer. We all love it cold with anything grilled. Or you could add grilled shrimp to it and some bread and dinner or lunch is served.
Cook 1 lb of small sea shells. Drain and place in serving bowl. Finely chop 1 lb of fresh tomatoes,4 cloves garlic, tear 30 -40 leaves of fresh basil, add 1/2 cup evoo, salt and pepper to taste,Mix all together well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hrs. Now slice 1/2 mozzarella into strips, add to bowl, cut 6 oz. of black olives in half add to bowl, add the pasta add the sauce you've been chilling and mix well. and enjoy, To make this a one dish meal add some grilled shrimp,chicken or even tuna.

I love pasta salad. Here's one that i got out of our local newspaper forum that i am going to try this weekend

Minestrone Salad -
1 pkg. small pasta shells
1 cup italian vinagrette salad dressing
1/2 cup parm cheese
2 carrots sliced
1 green pepper chopped
1 cup sliced zuchinni
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup garbanzo beans, washed and drained
1 can kidney beans, washed and drained
1 14oz. can diced tomatoes
Cook pasta. Cool.
Add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix.
Refridgerate for 2 hours.
