Happy Purim to you too Charlie.

We brought Rachel to temple last night and she had a blast. She was dressed up as Queen Esther (you can see the picture I posted here)

geebs, rachel is a doll, great smile!

btw, for all of you goys out there, purim is the feast on the 14th celebrating the story of how esther convinced the king of persia not to exterminate the jewish people.

and so, you are commanded to eat, drink, and be merry!

Thanks guys!

Bucky to take your explaination one step further, the adults are actually supposed to get so drunk that they forget the name of bad guy in the story (Haman). It can be a very fun holiday

Aha, that is why I am taking day off today and tomorow. Okay I did not drink anything last night, hope to make up for it tonight.
GB, one should drink until he doesn't recognise the difference between the bad guy and the good guy.

Truly Purim is holiday for everybody because it is the day of victory of good against evel. That is why it says that "many people became Jewish on that day".
