Ideas for Office Pot Luck?
Hello Ladies and Gents. I'm looking for ideas for an office pot luck party. It's not until the end of the month but I have to let them know what I'm bringing by the 18th.
Idealy, It shouldn't be too messy, hard to make, or too expensive to make. I'm not looking to wow their socks off. Just something yummy for the ladies. Any suggestions?

My pepperoni bites are always loved. They are easy and not expensive. I use all the hytop or lower costing brands and it turns out the same.
Look in the DC appetizer forum. You will find many many fine recipes and ideas ![]() Last edited by texasgirl; 01-15-2008 at 06:19 PM. |

Try these.
Cocktail Meatballs IV - Allrecipes You can just buy a bag of frozen meatballs instead of making your own, but they travel well in a crock pot and take no time at all. The sauce sounds wierd but it's pretty good!

My sister made these at our Christmas get together. The jelly set off the chili sauce, it's really hot by itself, and makes it a sweet and spicy dish. It was really good. |

Those meatballs always go over well at my office. Last time I made my Moroccan Chicken, they really liked it. Let me know if you'd like the recipe. Another that goes over well is a big bowl of really good salad. A chicken caesar is really easy to make ahead of time, and toss at the last minute. Good luck, and have fun!

Ladies, in particular, love this dish. http://www.discusscooking.com/forums...27&postcount=7
To make it even easier, you could use bagged cole slaw if you want. It's SO good and different, and everyone loves it. Also, suziquzi's recipe is delicious with sliced kielbasa. Let it cook in the crock a couple of hours, until the sausage gets very soft and good. This won a little cooking contest at work a few years ago (it beat out my blueberry swirl cheesecake!) Lee |

you know what---I always love a fruit platter......and as most ladies these days are watching their weight it would be very much appreciated.......but you'll have to do some prep ahead of time but it will be eaten, I guarantee you and do include a nice card so that they know who went to the time and trouble.......

An antipasto platter always goes down well, and then it is entirely up to your imagination and budget as to what goes on it.
If you wanted to take dessert, I always got lots of brownie points when I brought along a plate of mini chocolate (or coffee) eclairs. They are just your normal eclair mixture but piped to be about 3" long by just under 1" wide. I always filled mine with real cream but they were small enough for people to fell happy to have just one without feeling like they had blown any diets.
