Banana Bread with coconut syrup
I decided to try the coconut syrup last night , instead of the usual vanilla extract . It was not too bad. Just use the usual banana bread recipe and a flavored syrup instead of vanilla extract. Next time I'm going to try butterscotch flavoring .

I've tried coconut extract in my banana bread recipe and it works well. Add some sliced almonds before baking and you get a tropical twist to this bread. Lately, I've been adding caramel syrup in the center and over the top...devine! I've tweaked it several times. Mini chocolate chips are great too.
