Want to make muffins, but no milk

can i sub regular milk with buttermilk in muffins. i would really like to bake these now.

what would happen with the buttermilk ?

Yes you can, and I don't think its an issue at all babetoo.

Hey Babe, you can make buttermilk from milk with 2 tsp lemon juice or vinegar to 3/4 cup milk, hope that helps.

thanks katy, i have buttermilk. just don't have reg. milk that is called for in recipe.

How did they turn out? I have subbed buttermilk, as well as yogurt.

have not made them yet. discovered i had no butter either. groceries coming today so will be stocked up again.
