Wasn't sure where to put cobblers.

Quick Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 pints blackberries
1 stick margarine or butter
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar for top of cobbler
Cinnamon and/or nutmeg, optional

Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt margarine or butter in oven in 9 x 13-inch pan. When melted, pour in dry ingredients and milk to make batter. Distribute fruit evenly on top. Do not stir.
3. Distribute 1/2 cup of sugar on top. Sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top. Bake about 30 minutes or until done. Puncture crust with toothpick. When toothpick comes out clean, cobbler is done.

Blackberries are Paul's favorite. I'll be sure to whip this up for him. THanks!

This looks great; I am a big blackberry fan! They are a bit hard to come by in my area though; perhaps the blackberries could be substituted with currents or blueberries.

Thanks for the recipe I will try it out for sure!

Happy cooking to all! :chef:
