2 whisky-based cocktails

[Ishbel]

Brainstorm

2 oz whisky (Scottish, of course!)
1 teaspoon sweet vermouth
half oz Benedictine

Half fill a shaker with ice, add the 3 ingredients. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.


Feedbag

2 oz whisky
5 oz grapefruit juice
2 teaspoons of Grenadine

Half fill a highball glass with ice cubes. Put the whisky and grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker. Add the ice cubes and shake well. Strain and our mixture back into highball glass. Carefully pour the Grenadine into the middle of the mix. DO NOT STIR!. Garnish with orange wedges

Well, it's 4.40 pm - this side of the pond.... the sun is almost over the yard-arm....8)

That means it's almost 5:00! Too bad I have wait until after I pick my son up from school to have one. That's OK though beause that means I can have 2 when I get home!!
