Does anyone else like the Sidecar?

I love this drink. I make it like this

2 oz. Cognac (I use Remy Martin VSOP)
2 oz. Cointreau
1 Freshly squeezed lemon

Sometimes I add just a tiny touch more Cognac than Cointreau. But otherwise, just like I said, and then shaken and strained into a chilled cocktail glass. It is probably my favorite mixed drink ever.

I like the tequila version. With lime instead of lemon. And salt on the rim.

Well, not if it's MY Bookers
I wouldn't use Bookers for mixing, though. Something like Evan Williams is good for mixing.

I thought you called dibs on the Woodruff Reserve?

I think we're staying in tonight, may need to make a quick stop at the store to ensure we have everything for a few of these.
