So here's the deal: I can't stand most beer. Really loathe the stuff. There are a few good brands, but most of it makes me gag. I am, however, a huge fan of hard apple cider; not the sick-sweet alcopop varieties, but the dry stuff you get from small brewers.

My obession with the stuff is well documented, but is anybody else here a cider fan? Want to stand up and be counted, recommend some good brands? I've had Woodchuck, Cider Jack, Strongbow, Blackthorne, Bulmers/Magners, a plethora of Canadian kinds...but I'm always looking for more.

I really like the Strongbow Cider. I like the small, fine bubbles and the fact that it is not too sweet.

Gosh we love cider. But here in the US it is not very easy to find, at least for us.

In the fall we make our own, but production is limited, sadly.

It is a drink that has not caught on here, heck if I know why. It is light and refreshing.

Used to find Woodchuck, but even that is not available here anymore.

So it goes.
